Sunburnt is what I am. I fear getting a tanline that cuts straight across my arms, where my cardigan ceased. My poor death pale skin :(

My current state of pain was the result of a barbeque get together at Jells Park that was organised by Sandra and Monica. The whole thing was rather hastily organised, so half of us met up at the supermarket prior to lunchtime in order to figure out necessities, as there was rather a lot of, "DID ANYONE BRING PLATES AND CUPS?! AND WHAT ABOUT NAPKINS?!" as well as "DID ANYONE BRING UTENSILS TO COOK WITH?!" Then there was a slight bickering on how much meat/bread/drinks to buy as well as a lot of bickering over the guys insisting that they use the self-checkout, despite the fact that it ended up taking twice as long.

Anyhow, the barbeque turned out to be quite a success! The gathering was comprised of mostly my old high school friends, as well as various other geeky people that we've 'collected' along the way. I suppose we are very geeky, what with all our shared fandoms with games. Not only was today a good chance to catch up with people I haven't seen in two years, but also a good chance for me to unleash my Final Fantasy love; finally, people to spazz out with!!

After lounging around in the sun, we adults decided to infiltrate the playground and managed to turn a net hammock into a death trap by jumping around madly on it. I think almost everyone ended up getting rope burn, especially Sandra and Nick Fun who thought they could beat the death trap but ending up rolling down it. Pfft, and apparently we're getting old.
